Because they belong, they thrive
Being a Katey’s House child
You know if our nursery is right within seconds of walking in. It’s what you can see: bright, welcoming spaces inviting your child to explore. It’s what you can hear: children talking and laughing. It’s where the early educators are: down at the child’s level, talking to them and listening for their response. Nobody has to tell you. You already know. And your child will know too.
Katey’s House is a family of nurseries that shares the belief that children flourish when they feel they belong. When they have that feeling, they thrive, ready to grow and ready to learn.

Our nurseries
Set inside what was The Old National School on the historic Thames towpath, with high ceilings, large airy classrooms and a spacious garden, it gives children room to breathe both inside and out. Near the Grand Union Canal and Watermans park, we’ve transformed historic schoolhouse architecture into warm, welcoming spaces, proving that early learning can be about feeling safe, valued and anchored.

Built around a central, light-filled piazza on St Marks Road, Katey’s House Teddington is designed with a warm, communal heart. The piazza serves as our central hub where children gather, while our on-site garden lets them tend their own plants. Children also enjoy daily strolls to Bushy Park and Teddington Lock, with early educators always there to give them the safe harbour they need to build real confidence.

Housed in a characterful building with high ceilings and wooden beams on Creek Road, Katey’s House Hampton Court sits minutes from the station, the river and Hampton Court Palace. On our sunny pre-school terrace, children cultivate their own gardens, while regular outings take them past grazing deer and seasonal poppy fields in Bushy Park. Our Cherries baby room is small, calm and cosy, and a close team of early educators get to know every baby’s rhythms, so even our youngest children feel they belong from their very first day.

Set on Riverside Drive right by the Thames, Katey’s House Ham sits on a secure sports ground in the heart of Ham Lands, with five acres of fields, astroturf and playgrounds and immediate access to the surrounding woodland and Richmond Park. We believe a child cannot feel confident in a big world until they know they are completely safe. From watching cattle at Petersham Meadows to walking the towpath by Ham House, our children venture out into nature as an anchored little crew, knowing they always return to a quiet, cushioned sanctuary where they feel a real sense of belonging.

Katey’s House Kingston is our original home: a carefully converted Victorian house on a quiet residential street that sits at the very heart of our story. Moments from the Thames towpath and Canbury Gardens, its home from home layout naturally embodies the cosy warmth every child enjoys. Drop-off here is a gentle transition into our version of a family living room. Whether growing plants on our sunny terrace or taking daily walks into local woodlands, your child is anchored in a tight-knit little crew before confidently stepping onward to whatever life has in store.
