Our nursery
At Katey’s House Teddington, the piazza is the thing you notice. It’s a bright central hub under a glass ceiling, where the whole nursery comes together and where the dancing, messy play and art happen.
Around it are rooms full of natural light, each opening straight onto a well-designed garden. Children are out in it every day, cycling, digging and planting. As Planet Protectors and Garden Guardians they help look after it, and our growing areas bring farm-to-fork learning to life, from planting and nurturing to harvesting and tasting.
What makes it feel like home is the people. Our early educators get to know each child properly: what makes them laugh, how they like to be settled, what they’re growing this week. Children feel they belong here, and when they do, they’re ready to thrive and ready to learn.
Our Cherries baby room has been newly refurbished and extended, with a dedicated sleep area and space for quiet time. From Cherries, children move up to Plums as toddlers and finish in Apples, ready for school and everything after it. Inside there are songs and stories, Zig-Zag Zumba, Little Wandle and a calm Restful Rituals moment every day. Children also have a real say in nursery life through our Children’s Council.
Teddington is well placed for adventures too. Through Green Grass Academy, children head to Bushy Park and Langdon Park to run, explore and notice the seasons change. They visit the library and pop to the local supermarket to buy the ingredients they’re going to cook with.
Families are part of it too. You’ll know the names of the people caring for your child, hear about their day as it happens and have a voice through our Parent Forum.
Open 51 weeks of the year, 7.30am to 6pm. Come and see it for yourself.

Meet the manager
Karolina Bartyzel manages Katey’s House Teddington.
“Every child here feels a sense of belonging. They’re happy, well cared for, and treated as an individual. We love getting outdoors into nature every single day. We’re proud of the relationships we build with families, and we keep you updated daily on how your child’s day has gone and the little moments that make their time here special.”
