Fees
Costs for your childcare will vary depending on how many sessions you would like your child to attend for. You’ll be able to find more information by using our nursery calculator and selecting your preferred location.
How to pay
There are lots of ways to pay your invoice, and support you may be able to get to help pay it. The Best Start in Life website is a great place to start, as it lists all the different ways you can get support paying for childcare.
We can also accept payments via bank transfer – we do not generally accept payment by cash.
We also accept childcare voucher payments from most suppliers, and some settings are registered with Yellownest, a workplace salary exchange scheme.

Tax free childcare
Tax-Free Childcare is a separate government scheme that works alongside your funded hours. For every £8 you pay into an online childcare account, the government adds £2, up to £2,000 a year per child, or £4,000 a year for a child who is disabled.
You can use it to cover the costs your funded hours don’t, at Katey’s House or at any other registered childcare provider. It’s open to working parents who each earn above a set weekly minimum and do not individually earn £100,000 or more a year, until the September after your child turns 11 (16 if they’re disabled).
You’ll need to confirm your eligibility every three months to keep the account open, in the same way as your funded hours code.
