Our promise to you
Choosing a nursery means trusting us with a great deal, so you should know exactly what to expect. These are our promises to you. Four values shape how we work. We hold ourselves to them every day, and we always want to hear how we’re doing.
Passion
We start with whatever your child is interested in.
Our early educators notice what captures your child’s attention and build their day around it. You’ll hear about specific moments: what they explored, how long they stayed with it and what they tried next. If every update sounds the same, we’re not paying close enough attention.
Empathy
We learn your child’s story, so they feel they belong from day one.
Before your child starts, our My World form asks about their routines, comforts, family and what matters most to you. We plan around every dietary need and allergy with clear, careful systems. And if sleep or life at home changes, tell us and we’ll adapt.
Ambition
We notice what your child is capable of, and we’re ambitious on their behalf.
We hold high expectations for every child, and each one progresses at their own pace. Your child’s key person will tell you honestly how they’re doing, celebrate the milestones with you and raise any concern early, so nothing comes as a surprise.
Kindness
We’re careful about how we speak to your child, and about them.
Warmth, patience and their name, every time. We speak about children with the same respect whether they’re in the room or not. Visit when the rooms are full of play and watch how our early educators are with the children. Then judge for yourself.
What our parents say
Always here to talk
Whether it’s a question, an idea or something that doesn’t feel quite right, we want to hear it. Talk to your child’s key person or nursery manager at drop-off or pick-up, or call the nursery any day. You can share feedback through our Parent Forum, or email tellme@kateyshouse.co.uk to reach our leadership team in confidence. However you get in touch, we’ll listen, respond openly and let you know what we’ve done.
Come and see for yourself
All of that is serious, and it should be. But the reason we do any of it is simpler. Your child should come home with something to tell you about, and maybe a painting to show you.
Book a visit at whichever Katey’s House suits you. Tell us what time works, including the busy ones, and the manager will call you back the same day.
